Reading & The iPad

As a kid, and before my introduction to the Internet, I would read for hours, dreaming about the life I would create for myself through my inventions and creative ideas. I truly did live in a dream world, one without limitations, without seemingly endless responsibilities and stress. But that world doesn't exist now that I'm all grown up, even though I continue to pursue it within my current situation and abilities.

The iPad may change that. The iPad may reintroduce me to reading. I read a lot, but on web pages. In Google. Mostly just quick lookups and reference reading. Not cover to cover dream reading. I think the iPad may bring reading back to my world. I can imagine myself getting lost in virtual pages of quality publications, just like the good old days of magazines, encyclopedias, and how-to books that I used to love.
