Recovering Passwords on a Mac - The Keychain

Written by on Mar 01, 2010

Here's a great article about Recovering Forgotten Passwords on your Mac. The Mac uses a central repository called the Keychain to store passwords, certificates, and even secure notes. Most applications can utilize the Keychain, storing and retrieving passwords transparently. If you ever forget a password, you can always search for it using the Keychain Access utility on your Mac to recover it. Very handy. I've been using this technique for over five years now.
